Every year, Help/Systems would hold a conference for our users, called, you guessed it, the User Conference. It gave our customers a chance to learn more about our products and the people behind them. Oh yeah, and to party. Hard. Anyway, it was decided that “summer camp” would be the theme for 2008. My approach was to imagine, what if you were digging through your closet and found a bunch of old stuff from summer camp? What would it look like? So I set out to create something that invoked warm, familiar, fun memories, and also created some new ones.
